Visit individual clients in the home or to go to places of interest in the community.
Picking up clients from their home and transporting them to the community venue and dropping them home again at the end of the activity.
Supporting the driver with navigation, assisting clients from their homes and in and out of the mini bus and ensuring clients are comfortable and safe.
Purchase supplies and preparation of healthy and nutritional morning tea/ lunches for the planned activity groups.
Assist with meal preparation, serving and cleaning at the planned activity groups.
Collect donated fruit and vegetables from Foodbank Victoria, FareShare and SecondBite and distribute to other community groups within Hobsons Bay.
Share your knowledge and expertise by being a presenter to Gateway programs to enhance clients awareness of safety, health, motivational and well being topics.
Share your talents across Gateway programs in the areas of singing, dancing, performing and song writing.
Support clients to participate in this social group that enjoys recreational fishing at various locations throughout the western suburbs.
Share your skill and knowledge of woodcraft, whilst supporting clients to make various woodcraft items in a social group environment.
Share your artistic skills to support clients to make creative art and craft items in a fun and social environment.
Qualified instructors to lead gentle exercise programs on land or in warm water.
Telephonist Contacting clients by phone to enhance the feeling of safety, confidence and sense of well being. This is part of a Hobson's Bay and Victoria Police community safety program.
A range of administrative tasks including answering the phone, data entry, filing and admin support.
